Will the grillz fit over dentures? I am asking cause due to an auto accident, I had to get dentures on my tops and I am wanting to buy a grill for my teeth.

I asked this before and didn't get many answers, so I'm asking again.
I've had a crush on a guy for about 7 months. I was too shy to tell him I liked him, so a friend did it for me. He played hard to get for about a month and a half after he found out I liked him. On Friday, we had a conversation for the 1st time ever and made plans to go on a date. I noticed that he has a jacked up grill aka bad teeth. I really, really, REALLY like him. He dresses well, he's such a sweetheart and I know that my mom will like him, unlike all of my ex boyfriends. I have a big thing about men and their teeth. I desperately want to look the other way, but it will be hard.
Has anyone ever been in this situation? I know people have bad teeth for various reasons, but my goodness! He has yellow teeth (not dingy yellow, so I can deal with that) and there's a black spot on one of his front teeth. To kiss or not to kiss? That is the question!

Well "grills" are usually done at the dentist office though where I live (Atlanta, Ga) you can pretty much go to just about any Flea Market, and have a "Grill" installed%26gt; LOL I would would imagine that a person who has a "grills" teeth would pretty much rot out of there heads by the time they were 80 as there is little preventative methods to prevent tooth decay, and other oral issues. If you are considering getting one, or you know someone that is, I would advise that they considered one that is removable, or a "pull out grill". Hope this helped!

dalton please don't get another grill. They are so bad for your teeth, and if you don't get a good fitting one, with dental professional help, than you can set yourself up for a lot of tooth trouble later on. Poor fitting grills can trap food and plaque, and the bacteria that thrive on such which leads to cavities, cracked teeth etc. And no one that I have ever spoken too with a grill can they themselves speak very clearly. I know that many famous rap and R%26amp;B stars have them, but I would hate to see what their teeth is going to look like under that grill in ten years. Prob. a rotten mess. If you must have a grill don't let the local people at the kiosk at the mall make it for you. Find a good cosmetic dentist, let them take the proper impressions, and let the dentist send off those impressions to dental labs that know what they are doing. I am sorry but people in the grill business that are not dental professional are not looking out for your overall dental health. It may cost you more to see a dentist, but the fit of your grill and the health of your teeth will be taken care of.

They are so bad for your teeth, and if you don't get a good fitting one, with dental professional help, than you can set yourself up for a lot of tooth trouble later on. Poor fitting grills can trap food and plaque, and the bacteria that thrive on such which leads to cavities, cracked teeth etc. And no one that I have ever spoken too with a grill can they themselves speak very clearly. I know that many famous rap and R%26amp;B stars have them, but I would hate to see what their teeth is going to look like under that grill in ten years. Prob. a rotten mess. If you must have a grill don't let the local people at the kiosk at the mall make it for you. Find a good cosmetic dentist, let them take the proper impressions, and let the dentist send off those impressions to dental labs that know what they are doing. I am sorry but people in the grill business that are not dental professional are not looking out for your overall dental health. It may cost you more to see a dentist, but the fit of your grill and the health of your teeth will be taken care of.

Well I'm White But decided to answer anyway because I have an issue with a family member and these darn gold grills.. My Son-in-law is Mexican, he is a D. J and says that it's his image and he has to keep it up ... lol .. He has a web site, plays at different places, etc.. But he looks ridiculous ! We tell him this, but it doesn't seem to matter. I can tell he really like's his grill...... We just try to keep him away from his son when he is wearing it , Don't need anymore negative things going on in a 6 year old's life .. It's just another fad, but I totally agree with you.. And I would imagine a woman would even look worse with a grill.. Hopefully this will fade.. But what will come next .. ??????????

Reply:No, they most certainly do not look good. I roll my eyes everytime I see someone with a 'grill' or even with one tooth done for that matter. Not to mention the fact that if you do it then you are going to ruin your teeth. Part of the enamel has to be taken off each tooth ..... IE: you're ruining perfectly good teeth to do it. Bacteria gets in there and eats away causing decay under the 'grill'. Bottom line.... if you want to be completely toothless and wearing dentures several years down the road... then go ahead and get your 'grill'.
As for the girl above that said she was only going to have one tooth done because that is 'classy'... I roll my eyes at her too. I swear you young kids wouldn't know class if it slapped you in the face!

try almond hershey's kisses - they come in a gold foil that you can remove, flatten out, and then mold it to your teeth. also, check some online novelty stores and e-bay - i'm sure you'll find some good fake grills.

I saw the question you wrote all about me! Geez I feel so special! I would like you to know, little girl, that maturity can take you a long way. Caring about other people’s lives, to whom you don’t even know, to the point where you make it personal is a very petty, pathetic, and immature thing to do. You don’t know me. You don’t know my family. You don’t know my beliefs on barely any of the subjects I have written about. You assume far too much. What is wrong with asking questions? Nothing. What is wrong with answers and opinions? Nothing. Have I ever gone after you to get a reply? No. In fact it is the complete opposite you have been trying to contact me, writing emails, looking at my 360 page, and writing silly questions about me. Someone seems a bit obsessed. You don’t believe me? Well I guess a “crazy little girl” like you wouldn’t. I’m glad you can put so much effort into someone else, but maybe focus that effort into someone who needs it. Like a foster child, a needy family, or heck even your own grandmother.
You know, I sit here and think, why in the world does this little girl want to contact me? Why does she care? The only thing I (and others) can think of is jealousy or intimidation. Are you jealous that you can’t hold a mature and educated conversation? Are you intimated by me a person who can hold a mature and educated conversation? Are you jealous that I can use correct spelling, punctuation, and grammar? Are you jealous of my life? Are you intimated by the fact that I can think about something other then random and sporadic thoughts? I really don’t know. Whatever it is--it’s really sick and twisted.
All I do know about you is you love celebrities (give me a break), you talk and act like a little girl, and you have an obsession with me! I really hope that you are just a little girl. I hope you aren’t an uneducated forty-five year old. I hope better for your life then you make it seem. I will continue calling you a little girl as this is what you are mentally.
