Do you see the human face in non-human thing? Like what? Why does this happen?

When I was a kid, I remember thinking that the front of a car looked like a face, the grill the teeth, the headlights were eyes, etc. Some cars looked pleasant and some were growling. Where do you see faces?

I see your avatar picture right now.
Reply:I think this is a feature of the vision-mind thing to find patterns in everything. This is probably hardwired into the Darwin survivor thing. We tend to anthropomophize stuff. Interpret stuff to be human. Probably as the thing most dangerous to man is man, and forewarned is forewarned. If we think we see something we can't ID and it is another person and it is we have time to analyze--friend or foe, run or fight, if it turns out to be sticks a rock, trees, shrubs, and we falsely ID-ed, big deal, you're still alive.
