What happens if you swallow foil?

I put foil on my teeth to make them look like I had a grill, and I accidentally swallowed a little pice of the foil. What will happen? Will it get digested or will there be shiny stuff in my poo?

What happens if you swallow foil?
The'll probably be shiny stuff in your poo.
Reply:You'll poop it out. Should be fun. Bring a camera.
Reply:Our bodies cannot digest foil, so the foil is gonna end up coming out of your end. You'll be okay ... unless the foil somehow folds a certain way and gashes your insides. Other than that though, you're completely fine.
Reply:I think you'll be fine just try not to eat it regularly!!!!!!!!!!

you might turn silver
Reply:It will probably come out as a bit of shiny stuff in your poo. It won't digest because there's nothing in it that your body needs. I wouldn't worry about it though, it won't do you any harm.
Reply:haha no shiny stuff in your "Poo" but your digestion track shall have a bumpy ride depending on how big the piece was, but it seems you won't have problems.
Reply:If you just swallowed a small quantity, it's unlikely to be doing you any harm, but your body can't digest it, so you'll be seeing it again ^_^.
Reply:At least the aliens won't be able to track your movements
Reply:DO NOT GET IN THE MICRO WAVE. You'll be find. It'll soon pass. As far as shiny in your poo - I don't know, take a look.
Reply:you will probably have a hard time pooping it out. good luck!
Reply:Aluminum is a very reactive metal, so the tiny piece will most likely get digested by the acids in your stomach. It should have no adverse health effects, but I'm not sure what would happen if you were to swallow a substantial amount of it, so please don't go out chewing on tin foil on a regular basis.
Reply:It won't digest.
Reply:Ha!! thats funny... You'll pass it soon.
Reply:When u get rid of it, go to Roswell, that'll leave them all wondering where THAT came from. ;)
