im serious in the 40's the pachucos wore baggy khakis and fedoras homburgs etc now the black guys are taking it. its probably not intentional because the styles are changed up a bit. stead of khakis its jeans but the thing is i dont mind the black guys looking like us a little bit its that white suburban kids sometimes copy black styles and a white kid in baggy pants and a white tee is kinda dumb. well i guess it could be worse at least no ones copying the mexicans and wearing metal in/on their teeth. oh wait they are! they call em grills! lol jk i think i can answer my own question. correct me if im wrong but its probably just coincidence huh?
Why do black people take chicano styles?
Fashion is fashion and it crosses years and boundaries and everybody copies everybody. So, if there is something in another cultural that is accepted in others think of it as a complement as I think of it a compliment when people copy out of our cultural and now what fashion repeats itself every seven to ten years so all of what we see now will go away and it will come back in another version updated etc. in seven to ten years. Remember also there is nothing new under the sun so somewhere it has been on before, even the fig leaf was copied look at the tribal people way of dressing.
