What's with the "thug" look?

Is that still in? You know.. the "GANGSTA" look? I saw this guy today, he was in his early 20s or so had a gold grill "teeth" for those of you that may not know what a "grill" is. pants hangin LOW and a shirt 3 sizes too big. So this guy is walking around with his "gangsta" attitude and I couldn't help but ask myself, is that whole image thing STILL in???? Didn't all that go out like 10 years ago?

is he a minority, then so what, thats what they do, they do that and kill each other, who cares, if he was a white guy, then hes just a wanna be gangsta, also known as douche bag
Reply:Well you might not be aware but that isn't considered thuggish. It's just....urban I guess. I personally don't care for grills but I wouldn't look down on anyone who wears one. What "gangsta" attitude did he have anyway? I notice some of the younger crowd seems to mimic whatever they see on BET which is a damn shame but they usually grow out of it.

Reply:No, I think its still in but evolving a bit more...some of the gangsta looks I've seen also include dreadlocks and shoes without laces or untied. Try walking around with your pants 2 sizes too big...a shirt hanging down to your knees and shoes that are pratically on the verge of falling off with everystep and tell me how that is supposed to look cool. Paaaleeeezzz!!!
